1 December 1994 - +969 discontinued due to Yemen unification

Prior to Yemen reunification, country code +969 was used for the Yemen Democratic Republic, and country code +967 for the Yemen Arab Republic.

Phone services were consolidated under country code +967, with +969 officially discontinued as of 1 December 1994.
